First night flop

I have to say, that as a professional woman who would most likely be identified as a democrat by those who don’t know me well, the first night of the convention was a total flop.  Michelle delivered the speech she needed to deliver; Senator Kennedy inspired the crowd.

Democratic Convention

Today starts the Democratic Convention from Denver.  I’m eager to see how the dems align themselves for the general election against Senator McCain.  It looks like they will roll the dice and move to the left.  Let’s take a look at the speaker lineup:

  • VP Predictions

    Well --- I botched the Obama pick. I had suggested that he might pick General Wesley Clark. Yea. Right. Anyway - Senator Joe Biden was probably the most sensible pick for the Senator. My prediction that Senator McCain might pick former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is also in jeapordy. I can see how Mitt Romney might make more sense after seeing who Obama picked. Who knows...we'll see soon enough.
